Keith E. Macdonald, D.D.S.

Dr. Macdonald grew up in Tempe, Arizona. He received his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University and Arizona State University. He then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the national honors fraternity of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He earned his orthodontic specialty degree from UCLA and has published internationally in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Macdonald is now in the private practice of orthodontics in Mesa, Arizona.

Dr. Macdonald is active in both national and local dental societies. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the Arizona Orthodontic Society, and the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group. He also served as the President of the Arizona Orthodontic Society. Dr. Macdonald is committed to his pursuit of knowledge and regularly attends continuing education classes to understand and implement the most current treatments available.

Dr. Macdonald treats all types of malocclusions in children and adults and has received extensive training in surgical orthodontic treatment. He believes in optimizing facial aesthetics as well as creating beautiful, functional smiles.

When Dr. Macdonald is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lori, and their four boys. He is active in his community: promoting hygiene education in the public schools, coaching and supporting youth sports teams, and volunteers his time at church. Any remaining time is reserved for surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, traveling, scuba diving, and golf.

Robert A. Macdonald, D.M.D.,M.S.

Dr. Robert Macdonald (Dr. “Rob”) grew up in Tempe, Arizona. After attending Corona del Sol High School for 1 year, his family moved to Gilbert where he attended Gilbert High School. He received his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University and the attended Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU) School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon where he graduated with honors. He continued his education at OHSU and received a Master’s degree in Orthodontics.

Dr. Rob is active in both national and local dental societies. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the Arizona Dental Association. Dr. Rob enjoys learning new techniques and innovative concepts through regular attendance at national and local continuing education courses so that he can offer the most current treatments to his patients.

Dr. Rob loves being an orthodontist because he gets to associate with many types of people, both young and old, and help them create beautiful and functional smiles from all types of dental problems. His goal is to treat each person individually to optimize both facial aesthetics and tooth positions.

When Dr. Rob is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ericka, and their four children (Cameron (5), Carson (3), Nathan (1), Megan (3 months)). He is active in his community and church-related activities. Dr. Rob enjoys spending his remaining free time in the great outdoors – wakeboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking, and golfing.
