Cindy

Cindy is the office manager of our Mesa office. She graduated from Phoenix College with national certification in dental assisting and Arizona certification in radiography. She started her career in orthodontics as a lab technician and clinical assistant and has been with Macdonald Orthodontics for more than ten years. Cindy received orthodontic treatment as an adult, so she knows the impact a confident smile produces and wants to make that possible for each family. As a result, she will create a financial arrangement to make braces affordable for most families so they, too, can smile with confidence.
 
Cindy has been happily married for 32 years and has three grown children. In her spare time she enjoys family, vacations, shopping, and a good book.

Carmen

Carmen chose to work in the orthodontic field in 1993 because she wanted to make a difference in peoples’ lives. She has truly enjoyed seeing the positive changes in our patients as their smiles have been transformed. Carmen has been a part of Macdonald Orthodontics since 1998 and is our Mesa Treatment Coordinator. Having started her career as a clinical assistant and X-ray technician — and having had braces herself — she understands all aspects of treatment. She will be sure all your treatment, appointment, and financial questions are answered at your initial consultation.
 
Carmen is married and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys reading, Starbucks, the outdoors from the beach to the mountains, decorating, and spending time with family.

Crystal

Crystal is a clinical assistant and scheduling coordinator; she joined our team in 2008 and fell in love with orthodontics. She will greet you with her beautiful smile created by Dr. Macdonald when she was in junior high. Crystal graduated from Red Mountain High School and shortly after came to realize that her passion is helping others have a beautiful smile. She now balances many roles in our office and is our tech-savvy Facebook guru. She knows the excitement and joy patients have when they see themselves without braces, and is thrilled to be a part of it.
 
Crystal is a native of Arizona and enjoys outdoor activities including quadding, tubing down the Salt River, boating, and fishing. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading, digital scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.

Jody

Jody is proud to have been a part of the Macdonald family since 1991. She is a clinical assistant and is responsible for tracking inventory and ordering supplies. Jody enjoys working with patients and helping them realize that orthodontic treatment can be a pleasant, self-esteem boosting experience.
 
Jody is proud to be an Arizona native. She lives in Gilbert with her husband of 20 years and her two beautiful daughters, Bailey and Melissa. Jody enjoys reading, shopping and going to the movies with her girls and bike rides with the whole family in the beautiful weather Arizona has eight months of each year

Jessica

Jessica enjoys meeting new patients and watching them grow during orthodontic treatment. Also known as Jessie in the office, Jessica graduated from the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting in 2003. Soon after, she joined our practice as an orthodontic assistant and has been a strong asset ever since. An Oregonian at heart Jessica graduated from Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon. It was there that she found her love of being active in the community.
 
You might find Jessica in her spare time cooking, reading, dancing, and doing as many things as possible outside. Jessica and her husband, David, had their first baby boy in December 2010! We are so glad she is part of our Macdonald Orthodontic team.

Rebecca

Rebecca has been assisting Dr. Macdonald chairside since 2007. Having had braces twice, she understands what our patients go through. She loves getting to know our patients and their families, and seeing them out in our community. She also loves to see how our patients grow and their beautiful, confident smiles when their braces come off. She is currently pursuing her education toward becoming a dental hygienist.
 
Rebecca is a newlywed. She and her husband, Cameron, love to spend their spare time outdoors with their dogs, Hazy and Piper, camping, boating, and hiking in the mountains.

Cris

Cris is originally from the Chicago area, until the “Winter of ’79” that brought her family out to sunny Arizona. She graduated from Westwood H.S. and then went on to Apollo College for Dental Assisting. Cris worked as a Clinical Assistant  for a Pediatric Dentist for 10 years.  Intrigued with Orthodontics, she followed that career path to Dr. Macdonald’s office. It is very rewarding to see people gain confidence with an awesome smile that they are proud to show off. Career changes took Cris’ family to SLC for a while, but she is happy to be back in Arizona (where you do not have to drive in snow) and changing smiles with Dr. Macdonald’s office once again. Cris married her high school sweetheart of 25 years and has two wonderful grown daughters. She enjoys the outdoors with her family: camping, hiking, kayaking and crafts.

Wendy

Wendy is our orthodontic lab technician. She makes all the study models, retainers, expanders, and other appliances. She also takes care of the bulletin boards, which are extremely popular in our office. Wendy is always thinking of new contests for our patients. She has been with us since 1991, but has worked in the orthodontic field since 1975.
 
Wendy lives in East Mesa with her daughter. On the weekends you might see her at the Mesa Arts Center where she volunteers with Mesa Encore Theatre. Stop by the lab sometime and say hi!

Tami

Tami is our office manager in the Gilbert office. She fell in love with the specialty of orthodontics in 1977 when she first began her career in the field. She enjoys watching patients' shy smiles transform into broad, inspirational smiles through orthodontics. Tami began as a clinical assistant and X-ray tech. She currently assists parents with financial arrangements, insurance and patient accounts.
 
Tami has been married to Ron for 35 years. They have two married daughters and three grandsons, whom Tami adores! Tami loves to stay busy; she likes any activity that involves her family, especially boating and making arts and crafts.
 

Stephanie

Stephanie is a wonderful assistant. Our patients love her because she is always full of laughter! She makes our patients feel comfortable in our office and is available to answer any questions patients may have about their treatment.
 
Stephanie enjoys teaching swim lessons on the weekends, loves to travel, and someday she would love to visit Graceland because of her love for Elvis!

Karla

Karla is originally from Northeastern Ohio and moved out west in 1996. Karla attended and graduated from the Rio Salado Dental Assisting program and began her career in orthodontics in 2003. She works in the Gilbert office as our “utility girl.” Karla jumps back and forth from the front desk to clinical assisting as needed.
 
Karla has been married to Mike for four years and has two handsome little boys named Brady and Ethan, whom she adores tremendously! Karla enjoys being a mom, spending time with her family, vacationing to new places, riding ATVs and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!

Sylvia

Sylvia has been dental assisting since 1987 and joined the orthodontic field in 1997. Sylvia is an awesome clinical assistant in our Gilbert office and is also responsible for inventory and ordering. We’re lucky to see her smiling face every day!
 
Sylvia has two children, Kyle and Cherise. She loves spending time with her two children and her adorable Doberman, Charlotte. She values her weekends, loves sports, and is a super big Cardinals fan!
