We appreciate you selecting our office to serve your orthodontic needs. The following information on office hours, scheduling appointments, and emergency care is given to inform you of our office policies. These policies are designed to help our office to run on time and keep treatment efficient.

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday 7am to 5pm, and Friday 8am to 12 pm. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays as well as times when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs.

Appointments

Patients are seen from 7:20am to 4:20pm Monday through Thursday by appointment only. Regular adjustment appointments are done between the above mentioned hours which accommodate many of our patients with before and after school appointments. Longer appointments are usually few and far between and are done between the hours of 8:30am to 2:30pm. We schedule in this manner to accommodate patients in missing the least amount of school or work.

We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. This makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.

Emergency care

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. It is our goal to get you comfortable as soon as possible. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Should you have an emergency after hours or on weekends please call our office for further direction.

Fees & Financial Policy

It is our goal to make orthodontics affordable so that you can have the smile you deserve. In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established our financial policy as follows:

• If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a bookkeeping discount. If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for the payment of your portion.
• Our in office payment plan is popular. To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment. There is no interest associated with the office payment plan.
• Our office also works with Orthodontists Fee Plan, an outside financing company. This is a good option for patients who would like to start with no down payment or who have multiple kids that need treatment. Financing programs are available for people with a wide range of credit histories, so you can select a monthly payment that fits within your budget. This option does have a low interest rate associated with it but there are no fees to apply and no prepayment penalties.
• For your convenience, we offer VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER service.

In case of serious delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate our patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

If you have insurance we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as listed above. Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. As a courtesy we will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
